Mix-ready bass instrument for modern metal

Inferno Bass II
Each purchase of Inferno Bass II includes 2 device activations. These are for non-simultaneous use by a single user (e.g. desktop and laptop).
Inferno Bass II
Inferno Bass II gives you a finished, mix-ready low end from the moment you load it, with the flexibility to shape it further if needed.
If the goal is weight that stays controlled in a dense mix, this is the solution.
Most bass libraries start as raw material. This gives you a finished bass sound.
Inferno Bass II is built for sessions where you don’t want to construct a tone before you can make decisions.
Load it, balance it, and move on.
The Sound
Inferno Bass II is based on the sound of a Dingwall Combustion 5-string. It’s tuned towards weight and continuity.
✓ More low-mid presence
✓ Slightly rounder transient response
✓ Controlled top-end that doesn’t compete with guitars
It sits in dense arrangements without needing to be forced into place.
Where some basses are designed to cut first, this one is designed to hold the centre.
Where it fits
Inferno works when the mix needs weight without becoming congested.
✓ Slower or mid-tempo material
✓ Dense guitars that don’t rely on excessive top-end
✓ Arrangements where the bass needs to feel embedded, not separate
It’s less about pushing forward, more about holding everything together.
The Engine
Fixed, mix-oriented signal path
Sine, DI, Clean, Sub & Grit
Each channel is already shaped to behave in a modern mix.
You can blend, route, and process them independently, or treat it as a single, cohesive instrument.
If you want to customise it, you can. If you don’t, it’s already there.
The idea is simple: the layers you’d usually build are already there, working together.
You can rebalance everything quickly, or leave it as-is.
Controls
Ducker - Manages low-end interaction with the kick by dynamically controlling the Sub and Sine layers.
Humanize - Applies controlled timing variation to note on/off positions. Movement is repeatable on playback, while preserving tight passages, legato phrasing, and overall timing.
Alternate Picking (Auto) - Automatically alternates stroke direction on repeated notes, reducing the need to manually program picking patterns.
Articulation & behaviour
The performance side is focused, not excessive.
✓ Upstrokes / downstrokes / alternate picking
✓ Three downward slide speeds
✓ Two dead notes
Enough variation to feel intentional, without turning into programming overhead.
Included Presets
Tones from world-renowned producers and mixers
These are practical starting points taken from real workflows.
Load one, adjust the balance, save what you need.
